Categories
To ensure optimal performance of the Booknetic appointment booking plugin on your WordPress site, please verify that your environment meets the following system requirements:

| MySQL version | Minimum required MySQL version for this plugin is 5.6 |
| MySQL user permission | CREATE TABLE permission required |
| cURL | PHP cURL extension must be installed and enabled. |
| Server Cron Job | A real server cron job running every 1 minute is required for all workflow email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, and all other workflow actions). Without it, workflow notifications will NOT be sent. See Cron Job Configuration. |
Recommended Plugins for Booknetic
To maximize the functionality of Booknetic, we recommend installing the following WordPress plugins:
✔ SMTP Plugin (WP Mail SMTP, etc.) – Ensures reliable email delivery for booking confirmations and notifications.
✔ Server Cron Job (required) – A real server cron job running every 1 minute is required for all workflow notifications to be delivered. Unlike the Recommended Plugins above, this is not optional — without cron, workflow emails, SMS, WhatsApp, and Telegram notifications will NOT be sent. See Cron Job Configuration.
✔ Security Plugin (Wordfence, Sucuri, or iThemes Security) – Protects against vulnerabilities and unauthorized access.
✔ WooCommerce – Enables additional payment gateway options, useful if selling services as products.
✔ Yoast SEO / Rank Math – Helps optimize booking pages for search engines.
✔ Google Tag Manager & Analytics Plugin – Tracks user interactions with your booking system for better insights.
✔ WPML / TranslatePress – Allows multi-language support for global businesses.
