To get started with the Donation add-on for Booknetic, you need to create a WordPress page with the [booknetic-donation-form] shortcode included. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Pages > Add New.
  2. Give the page a title and enter any content you want to display above or below the donation form.
  3. If you are using Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi, search for the Donation Form widget, or In the editor, add the [booknetic-donation-form] shortcode to the content area of the page.
  4. Publish the page.

Once you have created the donation page, you need to define it as the donation page in the donation settings.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Booknetic > Settings > Front-end panels > Donation.
  2. Click on the General tab.
  3. Under the Donation Form Settings section, select the page you created in the "Display donation form on" dropdown menu.
  4. Click the Save Changes button to update the settings.

After setting up the page, you can add the {donation_form_url} shortcode to your notification workflow.

This will allow your customers to receive a donation form URL to send a donation. Once you have completed these steps, your customers will be able to access the donation form by clicking on the link provided in the notification they receive.
