Refund policy - Booknetic

We sell Booknetic across multiple platforms: Codecanyon, our official website (Booknetic.com), and AppSumo. Because each platform has its own billing system and rules, our refund terms vary depending on where you purchased.

Codecanyon Purchases

Purchases made on Codecanyon are subject to Envato’s refund policy. You can review their guidelines on the Envato website.

In summary, Envato may grant a refund if:

  • The item is not as described or does not function as intended.
  • The item contains a security vulnerability.
  • Item support is promised but not provided.
  • An unused item support extension is not used.
  • The item has not been downloaded.

Refunds are generally not granted for:

  • Change of mind after downloading.
  • The item not meeting your personal expectations.
  • Accidental purchases or mistaken orders.
  • Lack of expertise in using the item.
  • Claims made without sufficient information to justify the refund.
  • Loss of access due to the item being removed or the author becoming inactive(we strongly recommend downloading items immediately after purchase).

Purchases on Booknetic.com (Official Website)

For purchases made directly on Booknetic.com, the following policy applies.

30‑Day Money‑Back Guarantee (Plugin Only, New Purchases)

For the Booknetic WordPress plugin purchased on Booknetic.com:

  • You may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • This money‑back guarantee applies to new plugin purchases made on or after 5 March 2026.
  • The guarantee applies only to the main Booknetic plugin license purchased on Booknetic.com.It does not apply to:
    • Booknetic mobile app purchases.
    • Booknetic add‑ons purchased via Boostore.
    • Other separate services or products.

A refund will be granted if:

  • The plugin does not function as described, and our support team cannot resolve the issue.
  • A critical bug is discovered and we are unable to fix it within a reasonable time.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind or deciding the plugin no longer meets your needs.
  • The plugin not meeting subjective expectations (e.g. “I expected it to work differently”).
  • Accidental or mistaken purchases.
  • Lack of technical expertise or inability to use WordPress, your hosting environment, or Booknetic.
  • Purchases made before 5 March 2026 under previous terms (those are governed by the policy that was in effect at the time of purchase).

All refunds for Booknetic.com purchases are issued only to the original payment method used at checkout.

Purchases on AppSumo

Purchases made through AppSumo are subject to AppSumo’s own refund policy. You can view their current terms on the AppSumo website.

In general:

  • AppSumo typically allows refunds within 60 days of purchase.
  • If you experience an issue, please first reach out to us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
  • If a refund is required, it must be requested and processed directly through AppSumo.

Refund Policy for Booknetic Add‑Ons (Boostore)

This section applies to Booknetic add‑ons sold on the Boostore marketplace.

  • Refund requests for add‑ons are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  • A refund may be granted only if:
    • A bug in the add‑on is identified and our team is unable to fix it.

Refunds will not be granted if:

  • The reported bug has been fixed or resolved.
  • You decide the add‑on no longer meets your needs or expectations.
  • You made a mistaken or accidental purchase.
  • You are unable to use the add‑on due to lack of technical experience.

Refunds for add‑ons are also issued only to the original payment method used at purchase.

Mobile App Purchases

Our Booknetic mobile app is considered a separate product from the main Booknetic plugin and Boostore add‑ons.

  • The money‑back guarantee does not apply to mobile app purchases.
  • Refunds for the mobile app are handled according to the policies of the platform where the app was purchased (for example, Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  • Please refer to the relevant app store’s refund rules for details.

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we believe a request is fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of this policy.
