Conditional Prices

Step 1: Accessing the Conditional Prices Feature

  • Log in to your Booknetic admin dashboard.
  • Navigate to the "Boostore" in the top menu.
  • Install the "Conditional Prices" add-on to access the feature.

Step 2: Creating a New Conditional Price Rule

  • Click on the "Add New Condition" button to create a new conditional price rule.
  • Enter a descriptive name for the rule to easily identify it later.
  • Select the type of conditional price: "Addition" or "Discount".
  • Choose the amount type: "Percentage" or "Fixed Value".
  • Specify the campaign duration by entering the start and end dates for the pricing rule (optional).

Step 3: Defining the Conditions

In the "Conditions" section, you can define specific conditions for your pricing rule. Here are some examples:

  • Service: Select the services for which the rule will apply. For example, you can set different prices for a "Basic Package" and a "Premium Package".
  • Staff: Choose the staff member(s) to whom the pricing adjustment will be applied. For instance, you can increase the price when booking an appointment with a senior stylist.
  • Service Extra: Specify any additional services or extras that trigger the rule. You can offer a discounted price for customers who choose to add a "Hot Stone Massage" or any other additional service.
  • Day of Appointment Date: Select the specific days (e.g., 12, 13, 14) when the rule should take effect. For example, you can offer discounted prices for appointments booked on 12, 13, and 14 of each month.
  • Month of Appointment Date: Set conditions based on the specific month(s) of the appointment date. You can offer special prices during holiday months like December or for seasonal promotions.
  • Weekday of Appointment Date: Define pricing adjustments for specific weekdays. For instance, you can increase prices for appointments scheduled on weekends.
  • Payment Method: Apply different prices based on the payment method selected by clients. For example, you can offer a discount for customers who pay with PayPal or credit card.
  • Is Deposit Payment: Set pricing rules based on whether a deposit payment has been made. You can offer a lower price for customers who have made a full payment.
  • Bring People Count: Adjust prices based on the number of people clients plan to bring. For example, you can increase the price if a client plans to bring more than a certain number of guests.
  • Appointment Count: Set conditions based on the number of appointments clients have booked. For instance, you can offer a loyalty discount for clients who have booked a certain number of appointments.
  • Appointment Duration (min): Modify prices based on the duration of the appointment. You can charge different prices for a 30-minute session and a 60-minute session.
  • Appointment Start Time: Define pricing adjustments based on the specific start time of the appointment. For example, you can increase prices for appointments scheduled during peak hours.
  • Appointment End Time: Apply pricing adjustments based on the specific end time of the appointment. You can offer discounted prices for appointments that end before a certain time.
  • Appointment Date: Set conditions based on the specific date(s) of the appointment. For instance, you can offer special prices for appointments on public holidays.
  • Custom Form Choices: Customize prices based on the choices made on custom forms. For example, you can offer a discount for clients who select a specific option on a custom form.

Step 4: Setting the Pricing Adjustment

  • In the "Pricing Adjustment" section, enter the percentage or fixed value by which you want to adjust the appointment prices.
  • Review the summary of your conditional price rule to ensure all the conditions and adjustments are accurate.

Step 5: Testing and Monitoring

  • Once the conditional price rule is active, test it by making appointments that meet the specified conditions.
  • Monitor the pricing adjustments in the booking process and ensure that the rule is being applied correctly.
  • Make any necessary adjustments to the rule or conditions if needed.
