How It Works
Admin Configuration
In the SaaS admin panel, go to Settings → Payment Settings → PayPal.
Enter your PayPal Client ID and Client Secret (from your PayPal Developer Dashboard).
Webhook Setup To ensure subscriptions renew and expire correctly, PayPal webhooks must be configured:
Go to your PayPal Developer Dashboard → My Apps & Credentials.
Select your app and find the Webhooks section.
Add a new webhook endpoint (the URL provided in your Booknetic SaaS settings).
Select the events:
BILLING.SUBSCRIPTION.ACTIVATED – Sent when a subscription starts.
BILLING.SUBSCRIPTION.CANCELLED – Sent when a subscription is canceled.
PAYMENT.SALE.COMPLETED – Sent when a recurring payment is successfully processed.
Save your changes.
Copy the webhook Signing ID/Secret (depending on your PayPal account setup) into the Booknetic SaaS PayPal settings.
If webhooks are not set up, tenant plan renewals and expirations may not work as expected.

When tenants sign up, they select a plan and pay using PayPal.
