While self-registration provides a fully automated onboarding flow, there are times when you need precise control over tenant creation. The Manual Tenant Provisioning feature in Booknetic SaaS allows administrators to add tenants directly from the backend, giving you flexibility for VIP clients, enterprise deals, and special use cases.
How It Works
From the SaaS admin dashboard, navigate to the Tenants section and click Add Tenant. You can then define the tenant’s details:
Assign to WordPress user – Link the tenant to an existing WordPress user or create a new one.
Email & Password – Set login credentials for the tenant’s account.
Domain – Define the tenant’s unique subdomain (e.g., yourapp.com/tenantname).
Full Name – Add the primary contact or business owner’s name.
Plan & Expiry – Assign a subscription plan and optionally set an expiration date.
Once saved, Booknetic automatically provisions an isolated tenant environment, ready for use.
Benefits of Manual Provisioning
Direct Control Decide exactly which businesses get access, under what domain, and with which subscription plan.
VIP & Enterprise Onboarding Personally provision accounts for large clients or premium users who prefer a guided onboarding process.
Custom Setup Create trial accounts, demos, or pre-configured tenants for testing or partner presentations.
Flexible Management Adjust subscription plans, set expiry dates, or override defaults at the moment of creation.
Example Use Cases
Agencies – Create accounts for clients on their behalf, saving them from the registration process.
Enterprise Clients – Provision accounts privately for businesses that don’t use open self-registration.
Testing & QA – Spin up demo tenants for staging, development, or showcasing new features.
Why Manual Tenant Provisioning Matters
Not all customers fit into automated flows. Enterprise clients may require direct setup, while agencies may prefer to handle provisioning for their clients. By combining Self-Registration with Manual Tenant Provisioning, Booknetic SaaS gives you the flexibility to scale while still offering hands-on onboarding when it matters most.
